This appears to work ok on my GTR2 and GTS .. what specific device are you having trouble with?
Currently, Infinitime doesnt have any function to transmit periodic step data. One that is implemented I can add it to Amazfish.
Further investigation shows updating to to bluez 5.65 fixes the problem. This is available at https://build.merproject.org/project/show/home:piggz:harbour-amazfish-dev until it lands in sailfish in the next version.
Can you supply daemon logs, devel-su, journalctl | grep amaz
There is nothing there about data download...can you run a daownload data command and send logs
