Etymology and associatedStreet relations

In countries where associatedStreet relations are allowed and used (e.g. France), the name:etymology:wikidata=* (and some other non varying attributes) are often added only in the relation rather than on each way belonging to that relation.

Would it be possible to check that there is not already an etymology already filled out in associatedStreet relation(s) rather than displaying "Nothing is known about this place." ? Else we may end up with different etymologies on the ways and their relations (edit: and it would allow users to focus on really missing etymologies).
