After image upload fail: image count incorrect

I tried to upload an image and then closed the popup window but started in mapcomplete. But then I got a message that the upload failed. So I opened the pop-up window for that node again, selected that same image for uploading again. But even though it's only one image to UI is saying that two images are trying to be uploaded
