Setting "Course template shortname" from dropdown list creates courses with 2 copies of every activity

Hi all. Test environment: July 3, 2013 download of uploadcourse. Moodle 2.2.9 (Build: 20130318)

When "Course template shortname" from dropdown list is set to shortname the courses are created as template copies.

However, every activity e.g. "News Forum" are doubled. That is, I get two "News Forum", two "Labels", etc.

Using a backupfile works flawlessly.
