I understand that accepting both name or ID comes handy in the CLI and I would consider adding features that facilitate that use-case, but adding this kind of ambivalent functions...

I am tentatively closing this issue, because I don't see a path forward to this proposal as-is. Please feel free to reopen this or another issue to propose another solution...
