PTT not working after a while

Open KingfuChan opened this issue 7 months ago • 4 comments

I have noticed this for a while, but I kept forgetting to report this issue. My system is macOS 14.1.1 Sonoma (Ventura is also affected), always remembered to reset those items in Private & Security when updating VectorAudio. At first when I connect through VectorAudio everything works perfectly. But after some while my PTT stopped working, and the only solution is to quit VectorAudio and start it again, Which is annoying especially on a huge work load. I think of some possibilities, for example some other software may occupy the PTT key for some reason, but I can't always replicate it. vector_audio.log

Do you also build VectorAudio yourself and have had to give your own dev build permissions ? I also have this issue in development but don't think it would happen on a normal user endpoint

Nope, I haven't tried to build it on my own, didn't have any macOS dev experience. I would try it recently though.

PTT in v1.6.2 is completely not functioning on macOS Sonoma, even though I follow the steps to reset the control monitor and re-install. Had to roll back to v1.5.0.

Still PTT is not working completely with v1.7.0-b1.
