Pieces button placement

Hey team!

Not so much of a bug, more of a request here :)

Would it be possible to change the placement of the pieces button on code blocks? The way it is right now, it makes blocks larger by adding some empty lines. Ideally, I would like it to be still on the same corner, but just not creating all those empty lines.
