Environment

Technology Version
Flutter version 3.0.4
Plugin version 69.0.2
iOS version iPhone 13 os 15.5 (simulator) also was replicated on
Xcode version 13.4.1
inappwebview version 5.4.3+7

Device information:

Description

I want the native web browser to not have a transparent bottom bar. I have toggled off all the settings for translucent bottom bar yet it is still translucent for a time then it adjusts correctly, see video. Expected behavior: Bottom bar is not translucent when flag toolbarBottomTranslucent = false Current behavior: Bottom bar is translucent for a while before setting correctly.

Steps to reproduce

Set options for InAppBrowser: _browser.openUrlRequest( urlRequest: URLRequest( url: Uri.parse( 'www.google.com', ), ), options: InAppBrowserClassOptions( crossPlatform: InAppBrowserOptions( // Colors.white is used here due to no context. toolbarTopBackgroundColor: toolbarBackground ?? Colors.white, ), ios: IOSInAppBrowserOptions( toolbarTopTranslucent: false, toolbarBottomTranslucent: false, toolbarBottomBackgroundColor: toolbarBackground ?? Colors.white, ), ), );

Launch a url with openUrlRequest()

Images

In this video you can see that the bottom bar is still translucent even though I have all parameters for bottom bar to be a solid color.

Are you sure you have already searched for the same problem?

Some people open new issues but they didn't search for something similar or for the same issue. Please, search for it using the GitHub issue search box or on the official inappwebview.dev website, or, also, using Google, StackOverflow, etc. before posting a new one. You may already find an answer to your problem!

If this is really a new issue, then thank you for raising it. I will investigate it and get back to you as soon as possible. Please, make sure you have given me as much context as possible! Also, if you didn't already, post a code example that can replicate this issue.

In the meantime, you can already search for some possible solutions online! Because this plugin uses native WebView, you can search online for the same issue adding android WebView [MY ERROR HERE] or ios WKWebView [MY ERROR HERE] keywords.

Following these steps can save you, me, and other people a lot of time, thanks!

Hey ! is there any fix for this issue ?

Nope not that I have seen. Since the bar stays translucent I ended up putting a flutter view up behind the web view. Terrible hacky solution but that's all I can really do for now. 🤷

ok i see. But unfortunately for me my navBottomBar is above my route where my webview is push so i can't hide her with an element..
