Port Forwarding Not Working
Hello. I noticed three days ago that port forwarding has stopped working. I tried connecting to various servers across the globe and according to the site canyouseeme.org none of the ports are forwarding properly. The error says that the connection has timed out. This was working fine and the site reported that ports were forwarding properly until three days ago when it seems to have suddenly stopped.
This happens when using either OpenVPN or Wireguard.
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Connect to a server allowing port forwarding. Copy the port number
- Go to https://canyouseeme.org and paste the port number to test
- View error: Error: I could not see your service on XXX.XXX..207 on port (29721) Reason: Connection timed out
Expected behavior Port should forward normally as before.
** Observed On** Windows 11 64 bit Firefox 103 Chrome 103.0.5060.134 PIA 3.3.1 (Build 03924)
** Troubleshooting Steps**
- Re-installed TAP, WinTUN and Split Tunnel filters manually through the desktop application
- Uninstalled and re-installed PIA five separate times.
- Rebuilt TCP/IP stack via command prompt
- Uninstalled all Ethernet and WiFi network adapters as well as removing related software via the Device Manager
