Don't access email address information (Outlook pop-up)
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Due to security policy I can allow access to outlook API only for 10 minutes at a time. After given time, popup window with "A program is trying to access email addresses you have stored in Outlook" message will appear.
Describe the solution you'd like I want to get around the security policy. I am not sure when this popup appears - is it always when Outlook API is accessed? Or is it really just when "email address information" is accessed? If so, can OGCS have an option not to access "email address information" and sync calendar somehow without it?
Describe alternatives you've considered Hacking through registries, but it was fruitless
Additional context
I have same issue

Unfortunately these policies are enforced through group policy.
Any way to not access email addresses?
As in a corporate security policy that fires even when you have up to date antivirus defintions and allows you still permit access for 10 minutes (which is standard Outlook behaviour as per the wiki)?? That sounds like a rather pointless policy
But no, unfortunately, determining the email address associated with the Outlook account is required for OGCS to function.

I didnt want shift discussion from tech facts to corpo stuff but yes, you are totally correct.

Cant I somehow input the email address so OGCS can skip this step? Maybe this is nonsensical question for you, I am just exploring my options.
Thanks for the answers.
I solved the problem by installing a free antivirus software. I don't know why Microsoft defender would not be recognized.
@raidenlal It's just too baked into the product to change how that works, and I think even if you disable syncing of attendees, there are situations eg when syncing a meeting from an organiser in a different time zone that will trigger the same security prompt anyway.
As @stanleykeller suggested, if you have permissions to install your own anti-virus, this might be the way to go...
I have limited rights. Or if I have rights I am not supposed to change stuff. And even if I do change it, it will get reverted automatically by the policy. I have considered it (and even mentioned it in the ticket).
So now I live with the popups. I have disabled syncing of attendees, I have the same timezones everywhere and I still get pop-ups:(
