Application crash at start [0x80040155]

Bug Description
The application failed to start but there is no eror code and no log file generated
Steps to Reproduce the Issue
- Start the application
- It fails to start
Any other information
I do not have administrator right on my system. The hotline of my organisation tried to repair the installation of office but it did not improve anything. I guess they won't investigate more as this application is not supported internally. It has worked well during 3 years.
New try this morning and I received a log file. See attached (ver 2.9 and 2.9.5) OGcalsync.log OGcalsync.log .
Today my IT hotline tried to fix the registry as explained in the faq but it did not solve the issue. I have another computer in test (tablet PC Panasonic) freshly installed with the same configuration and the problem is the same.
Just to confirm, the error you are getting (although it's not quite being reported correctly) is 0x80040155 - Interface not registered.
The registry fixes are lengthy, including the 3 steps below "fix the interface". Often it's simplest to just reinstall Office...

Cisco Umbrella Roaming service has started on my computer. I do not know if this is the issue, but this is a new service installed for 2 or 3 months. ᐧ

I'd hope Cisco doesn't trash your Office install, but I guess you never know. You might have to just hope that as updates of Office are installed, that fixes the registry and OGCS starts working again :slightly_frowning_face:
