For offline reading I thought about something like Newsrob does. You can select wheter to download the RSS article or the mobilized webpage of the article in a certain feed. Than you can tell Newsrob to download content every hour, two hours etc. Set it to download automatically only when using a WiFi network. This feature is pretty handy when you are in EDGE-land and don't want to wait 30 seconds until an article loads.
