Strange yellow dot lines

After starting a new game, I can see a vertical line of yellow dots in the shroud. If I pan the viewport vertically, the line moves with the map. If I pan horizontally, the line disappears and others blink in and out. If I stop panning, a line may persist; if I move back to the original view, the original line reappears.
Not sure what other info to provide.
@RoosterDragon, hey I'm going to pull you into this. Do you think this has any relation to the vertical bars that TS got when panning the viewport quickly?
I don't get this on my system - so a screenshot may indeed help
Maybe the shroud tiles don't quite line up properly and so random pixels are sometimes showing through the seams?
Do the random lines go away if you disable shroud? What if you toggle it on and off using the dev cheats during a game?
It is happening intermittently and I got a screenshot of it earlier. I forgot to see what happens if I turn shroud off (but not that the dots extend into the non-shrouded area).
Update: Clearing the shroud and disabling visibility has no effect. Also, they appeared on the main menu today.
