this extension doesn't work

rightclick and click on insert getter and setter and nothing happens

I have the same problem. VSC shows the error message:

Command 'Insert PHP Getter & Setter' resulted in an error (command 'phpGettersSetters.insertGetterAndSetter' not found)

Windows 10, latest VSC

Actually there is a workaround: use v1.2.2 (via Install another version)! 😄

Use "PHP Getters & Setters (CV fork)" extension instead.

This plugin may by the worst one I ever see, though it got lots of downloads, I tried server times for two years, it never works. neither MacOS nor Linux. I wish the Github has the button 👎 along the ``Star` button.
