Hello, I have a question about the Docker images.

I'm not sure which image to use for my Dockerfile.

What is the purpose of dunglas/frankenphp:1-builder-php8.4-bookworm?

Should I use this builder image, or is it better to use dunglas/frankenphp:1.5.0-php8.4.6-bookworm?

The builder image is just necessary to create your own static build of PHP + FrankenPHP.

If you want to run your application inside the image, you can just use the regular bookworm images, they are based on the official PHP debian bookworm images:

FROM dunglas/frankenphp
#or
FROM dunglas/frankenphp:1.5-php8.4
#or
FROM dunglas/frankenphp:1.5.0-php8.4.6
#or
FROM dunglas/frankenphp:1.5.0-php8.4.6-bookworm

and then just install extensions as described here
