Searchbar not usable immediately
For a few seconds after loading the docs site, the searchbar cannot be used (and your cursor turns into a stop sign when hovering it to indicate that). Quite often when opening the documentation, searching for a phrase is exactly what I want to do next, which makes this delay rather annoying. I imagine this happens because there's some sort of client-side indexing going on, but even if the delay itself can't be eliminated there are other ways to improve the UX of this:
- It could be more obvious that the searchbar is unavailable because of loading/processing behind the scenes. I didn't realize this at first (heck, maybe I'm not even right about my assumption now!), or even that simply waiting is enough for it to start working.
- You could be allowed to type in your search term before it's ready. Waiting for search results is pretty common and expected, but waiting for the opportunity to even write in the searchbar is just weird and frustrating.
I don't know if any of this is even fixable on the Phaser end, or if it's all just a part of some theme or framework that you use. But I thought it would be good to bring it up here anyway because it's honestly really annoying.
