I noticed this pull request and also noticed that it conflicts a little with the changes I made to accomodate the profile shift capabilities I was building. The reason I needed the profileshift capabilities is that I want to design multistage planetary gearboxes for 3D printing. Having the capability to have a give center to center distance for gears make such a design a lot easier. So I will merge your code with mine.
