Emissions, Climate Change, and Sustainability icons
Your design set is very pure and visually appealing. I think it would be great to add some icons related to climate change, emissions, and sustainability. Specifically, icons representing:
- CO2 Emissions, GHG Emissions: Indicating carbon dioxide and greenhouse gas emissions, which are key contributors to global warming and climate change.
- Avoided Emissions, Offset Emissions: Representing emissions that have been reduced or neutralized through various initiatives and projects.
-
Scope 1, Scope 2, Scope 3: According to the GHG Protocol, emissions are categorized into these three scopes:
- Scope 1: Direct emissions from owned or controlled sources.
- Scope 2: Indirect emissions from the generation of purchased electricity, steam, heating, and cooling.
- Scope 3: All other indirect emissions that occur in a company’s value chain.
- Carbon Credit: Symbolizing a permit that allows the holder to emit a certain amount of carbon dioxide or other greenhouse gases, used to offset emissions.
- Climate Change: Depicting the long-term alteration of temperature and typical weather patterns in a place.
- Energy Attribute Certificates (RECs or Guarantee of Origin): Representing certificates that prove the electricity was generated from renewable energy sources.
- Supply Chain: Illustrating the considerable emissions from supply chains, which have become a significant challenge for businesses.
- Subsidiaries: Indicating subsidiary companies, which can play a role in a larger organization's overall emissions profile.
These additions would enhance the set by addressing important environmental themes.
