Does the merge feature do what you want? If not, please state in more detail how you want to copy things from one database to another.

Drag&Drop is already possible Ctrl+C/V may be an interesting feature to implement.
IMHO we can even remove the global settings button and replace it with a database settings button. The latter one is arguably more important.
KeePass2Android can open directly from WebDAV, Dropbox, etc. Changes made to the database on the phone are immediately synced back to your cloud storage. Haven't had any issues with that.
Edit: I checked your changes again, they primarily patch out global hotkey handling, which isn't critical, since Auto-Type isn't supported yet anyway, but I would still prefer a Wayland implementation...
Sigh. I definitely stopped being surprised at what other basic shit is still missing in Wayland a long time ago. No wonder that even ten years later this thing still...

A "Screenshots are enabled!" banner is exactly what you don't want if you intend to make screenshots of KeePassXC.
