The clickable area is too small (Debian 10 | Wayland)

Open KyryloRud opened this issue 5 years ago • 2 comments

Preconditions:

  • Debian 10 (it uses Wayland, maybe it's related to this topic: #83)
  • Installed extension (see version in the end of the comment)
  • Any program which have an icon in the tray (I've tried the Skype for Linux for reproduce the issue)

Action:

  • Try to hit the icon in the tray with left & right clicks
  • In general, the icon works
  • The clickable area is very small (around 1-2 pixels in diameter in the right bottom corner)

P.S. @phocean, let me know if you need additional information.

[UPDATE]

I've tried to install some other applications with tray icons, and here what I've got:

  • VLC Player
  • Cisco AnyConnect
  • Skype

Sometimes, icons clickable area is correct, but only if there are more than one app are running & only with icon which is the left one (my icons are in right corner).

Thank you for the detailed report. I will see if I can reproduce it on more recent versions before switching to the Debian one (which is quite old).
