Scheduled Import doesn't work

Open InternetAdvertisingSolutions opened this issue 6 years ago • 5 comments

After getting the currency update warning email on the old version which worked flawlessly, we updated to this new version, created a legacy api key and followed all instructions.

The overnight automatic update doesn't update the currencies. There is no failed email. Checking the api usage on fixer.io we can see the api requests are going through. We can log into Magento and manually retrieve the rates import them. We are using Magento 1.9.2.4

I never tested this. I will work on this. Thanks for reporting!!

@df2k2, are there any updates on the issue? It seems that I have the same problem. I'm using Magento 1.9.3.2

I can't remember off the top of my head if it started working or not. I have just checked my diary and my last mention of this was the 26th June (which was 12 days after my report above that it wasn't working). I have no notes after that. I'll check to see if the rates on my 2 live websites update overnight and I'll reply here to let you know vprohorova

@vprohorova I have now checked my 2 live websites and the currencies are automatically updating for both. My diary mentions no changes or fixes that I did, so I can only assume it started working/df2k2 made a correction or fix after I first requested the issue. All I can recommend to you is to check your fixer.io login to make sure your API key is making requests. Hope it started working for you, it's a great plugin.

Thanks for the response! I will double-check on my side.
