I love this plugin. It works like a dream for facebook and instagram. For twitter however, I need to authenticate. Is there a way we could make this work? And any idea for pinterest?

Nope, the APIs need to be open, allow an access token in the URL or support HTTP Basic. OAuth 1 was never built in and there is no token acquisition flow.
