Running external commands in montage mode

Hello,

I'm adding some bindings for external commands to perform common operations (think, delete as one of them). This works well in image visualization mode, as "$1" expands to the current file, as expected. However, in montage mode, $1 remains where it was when montage mode was entered, instead of "following" the cursor.

Is there a way to pass the image under the cursor to an external command in montage mode?

Not yet, but the behavior should probably change in montage nude 👍
