Forwarding/seeking in movies

I can be mistaken but i can not find a "forward/backward" action for seeking (like: press shift-scroll wheel to skip a part of a movie) in movies.

There is none. Right now all you can do is adjust playback speed, single-step thought animations, and return to the beginning.
