Option to stop notes from rendering automatically when Obsidian opens

Hey there,

I have a small issue with the plugin. Large (~100+ page) note files often take several seconds to load, which is understandable and quite okay when navigating through Obsidian, but it can be incredibly annoying when I close Obsidian with a .note file opened. Opening Obsidian again causes the note to re-render, which lags the entire application for several seconds, even if I didn't want to see the note at all.

This is an even bigger issue on Android (Pixel 7) where opening a note not only lags the application, but also overwhelms the whole phone, causing Spotify to crash in the background if I'm listening to music (which is honestly kind of funny).

Would it be possible to detect when a note is being rendered after Obsidian is opened and perhaps show a confirmation button that allows me to confirm "yes, I would actually like to see this note again"?

For the time being, I solved this issue by using the Homepage plugin, which stops the behaviour of Obsidian re-opening files on startup completely, but it's not ideal.

I have no idea how difficult it would be to implement this, but thanks for considering it.
