Allowed characters for custom search engines

By default, Brave browser uses the syntax ":[character]" for custom search engines. So :g for google etc.

It would be nice to keep this consistent within vimium, but I can't seem to get it working. I am able to copy over all my custom search engines from Brave, but the ":" at the front seems to trip Vimium up. I tried the obvious solutions like butting the ":" inside quotation marks, but I couldn't get it working.
