Hitting backspace or escape hangs any further key entry.

I just downloaded the latest release here to check it out--was very hopeful!

I installed the plugin, started up textmate, and started typing as it should start out in insert mode, right? However, as soon as I hit Escape, no more keys are accepted for any reason. I closed the window and opened another. Still no response. Quit TextMate, restarted, and I'm back in insert mode...that is until I hit Backspace. Same deal, no more keystrokes for anything.

TextMate: 1.5.10 (1631) TextMateVim: 0.2

Note: I am using a 30-day trial of TextMate.

I assume that hitting "i" after entering command mode by hitting ESC did not work? Are you on Lion?

Seeing the same issue. Neither hitting "i" nor "v" did anything. You have to restart TM to get any control back.

@j2fly, what keyboard layout do you have? If you hit "CMD+A" when in that state, does text get selected?
