Kodi 18.6 on firetv skins

Which skins does this great addon work with? I use it on arctic zephyr 2 but fast forwarding playing videos in choppy at 8x, & it works on the default skin but freezes up when loading vids from my nfs server, then on kodi 17.6 plexkodiconnect doesn't resume files, so I am stuck.
