graph toggle command fails even though the graph position is set to 'view'

I have "git-log--graph.position": "view" in my settings and have placed it in the bottom panel. I made a keybinding for git-log--graph.toggle but it doesn't work and I get the following error.

This command can only be used if GitLG isn't configured as a main editor (tab).
