[Feature Request] New Command Show/Hide Mobile Toolbar

Open FelipeRearden opened this issue 2 years ago β€’ 0 comments

Hello @phibr0 !!!!

My FR is simple to explain: A new command to the command palette that show/hide the Mobile Toolbar

My Obsidian Enviroment

I have the same .obsidian folder between three devices:

  • Desktop
  • 12.9 Tablet
  • 7 Tablet

My Advanced Mobile Settings: -> Always Show Toolbar = ON -> Table Row Count = 1

My workflow

12.9 Tablet has the same workflow as a Notebook, I always use attached with Keyboard and Mouse

  • For this device it's not necessary to have the Mobile Toolbar Visible

7 Tablet has the same workflow of a smartphone without anything attached.

  • For this device I need the Mobile Toolbar Visible

Same note on both devices

12.9 Tablet without Mobile Toolbar

7 Tablet with Mobile Toolbar

If I have a command to show/hide the Mobile Toolbar, I can set this command to the Mobile Quick Action Command and quickly change the Mobile Toolbar every time I use one of the two devices.

I'm aware that we can have different settings folders to Mobile, but since I use a lot of CSS snippets and many plugins, It’s lot of work to maintain 3 devices always update and running equal :)

Thanks for reading this !!!!! I hope you like my FR πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™

Let me know if you need more information !!!

Have a great day 🌞
