Avoid term 'germline sample' outside the context of cancer

I find the term ‘germline sample’ misleading, for example here. I understand that in the context of cancer, this refers to the ’normal’ tissue, but outside of the context of cancer, this term is confusing. I initially thought you were talking of an egg or sperm sample. So would avoid that term outside of the context of cancer.
