determine font-weight for embedding

Hi I have just a quick question regarding the font-weight, that is drawn from google. How can I set the font-weight at 700 (bold) for example. I noticed that only regular has been embedded in my SVG-file, hence no bold face was on display any more when I embedded the file either via img-tag or inline (gh pages). Many thanks.
