Ubuntu LTS can only export to PNG
As the title says I have the latest version of Ubuntu LTS and all I can do is export to a PNG. I installed from the Flatpak and not sure what's up or why it's not letting me export to OPML or whatever else. Help is much appreciated because I have like 2,000 plus nodes and nothing will take the .minder file type so I'm a bit stuck.
I'm not aware of any problems exporting to other file types. What version of Minder are you running and what happens when trying to export to OPML? Do you see a notification appear sometime after exporting?
I click the export. It shows PNG. I click the drop-down. The drop-down doesn't work.
Minder 1.16.4 Flatpak (from flathub dot org) Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS

Looks like there was a regression in the codebase at some point. I'll get that fixed. In the meantime, you should be able to work around this issue by going into your terminal and running the following command:
gsettings set com.github.phase1geo.minder last-export opml
After running this command, you will need to restart Minder. It won't fix the dropdown menu display issue, but it should show "OPML" as the export type.
Thanks for your assistance. I also found out from ChatGPT which I figured already that maybe the . minder filetype is some kind of XML and it is. Thanks again.
The .minder file format is currently in XML format. When version 2.0 releases it will be in a different format, FYI.
This issue should be fixed when Minder 2.0 is released. Marking the issue as Fixed. If you are still seeing this issue in Minder 2.0, feel free to reopen this issue or open a new issue, and we will deal with it at that point in time.
