Pressing Left/Right keys in commit message does not work

Steps to Reproduce.

• Try to do a commit, this will open the commit window.
• Enter some text in the message box.
• Use right / left keys to move, the caret will move.
• Click on an element of the tree.
• Click back in the message text box.
• Keys do not work anymore.
