Cannot cancel connection when missing proxy settings

When I forget to set the proxy, and try to create a new image, the launcher displays a staled progress bar with a cancel button. But the cancel button is not clickable, until the connection times out.

Please, could you show how did you set proxy?

This is out of the box. I'm in a network that requires a proxy.

1. start launcher
2. create a new image
3. download starts, but staled.

At this stage clicking on the cancel icon, has no effect. The progress bar stays displayed until the connection timeout
