CUDA out of memory

Since lately, the Interrogator keeps producing out of memory on my 8GB VRAM card. Any ideas how to solve this? Also, does the size of the interrogated image matters for the VRAM and processing?

I don't know the exact steps, but sometimes when I have both the Kohya_ss terminal and SD_web_ui open and I use the tiled diffusion "free gpu" memory button my idle GPU_Memory_Allocated drops to 200mb and then I can run it just fine. I think the issue is that when SD is idle I normally sit at about 4000mb GPU_Memory_Allocated according to WinDirStat. Not sure if this helps anyone, but I thought I would post about it.
