auto_usb_gadget:toggle not working

Glo HD with latest fw.

I have a simple menu item to toggle the usb menu_item:main:usb:nickel_setting:auto_usb_gadget:toggle

when I click on it it just pops up a message saying only on/off/toggle allowed

It worked fine until the latest fw.
