Open File Dialog: double click to open file no longer possible

In version 9.8, in the "Query -> Open File dialog", when double clicking on a file it does not open the file any longer (it used to for example in version 7.8). A double click now starts the file renaming.

If the layout is changed from List to Grid, a double click results in no action at all.

Is it possible to get the "double click opens file" logic back? It was very fast and useful.

In version 8.14 double click also opens the file. So it must have been a change in some 9.x version
