Describe the bug
I installed the latest pgAdmin4 for Ubuntu 24.04, following https://www.pgadmin.org/download/pgadmin-4-apt/ Version installed: pgadmin4-server/pgadmin4 9.8
Starting the application it immediately crashes with:
[27239:0905/085427.452166:FATAL:sandbox/linux/suid/client/setuid_sandbox_host.cc:169] The SUID sandbox helper binary was found, but is not configured correctly. Rather than run without sandboxing I'm aborting now. You need to make sure that /usr/pgadmin4/bin/chrome-sandbox is owned by root and has mode 4755. Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped)
chmodding the chrome-sandbox makes it work.
In fact, this happens every time this package is upgraded (which it was today for me). The mode is always set wrong.
