Hi,
Are you using a Mac M series with ARM processor? If yes, you're using the x86 version of pgAdmin. Use ARM pgAdmin.
@adityatoshniwal Thank you for your kind reply. For this version (9.3) I went ahead and used the installer from https://www.enterprisedb.com/downloads/postgres-postgresql-downloads which seems to have installed the incorrect version on my Apple Silicone machine.
@adityatoshniwal I was wondering why it was so much slower than the 9.6-arm64 application I downloaded manually, thanks for the heads up!
Closing, not an issue.
@adityatoshniwal It hanged again can you please take a look.
Can you close the pgAdmin4 dashboard and check?

Oh! I see what you mean! You mean that the Dashboard tab is the source of the instability? Yes of course I can close it and see if pgAdmin has become more stable. Sometimes I want to see the ongoing sessions but this is not important if it sacrifices the stability of pgAdmin.

No. We're not facing any such issue. I'm just trying to debug what can be the issue. Not sure exactly why you're facing this.
I have closed off the Dashboard tab and now for a few days I had no hang ups which is something I am incredibly happy about. I have even been using the debugger which is my most favourite feature of pgAdmin. It is rough around the edges but you know what? It works.
I am very grateful for your responsiveness and support on this, @adityatoshniwal. It does mean a lot to me when I am getting the support I need with such a crucial open-source technology.

Thank you for updating. We'll check what the issue is. Reopening.
I want to report that after closing the Dashboard tab on the version I am using (6.4) the application has been stable.
The only exception to this is the debug feature. https://github.com/EnterpriseDB/pldebugger/issues/35
Sadly this is the reason I am using pgAdmin. I wonder how I can jump in to contribute here. I am quite invested in making the debugging experience of PLpgSQL half decent (currently it is painful).
Hi @diraneyya,
So, your main issue related to the app freezing has been fixed; now the remaining issue is the Debugger issue.
Yes it is resolved and I am no longer experiencing these crashes.
