ChromeIPass: Not able to press buttons on external monitor

Open cyrildegen opened this issue 8 years ago • 2 comments

If I move my chrom browser window to my external monitor with a different screen resolution, the button links are not on the button icons anymore. If I move the cursor above the button icon, it works. If I move the browser window back, it works also.

Device: MS Surface Pro 3, Win 10, Resolution 2736x1824 External Monitor Resolution 2560x1440 Chrome: Version 57.0.2987.133 (64-bit) ChromIpass: 2.8.1

That's issue of Chrome from v54 which to this day still persists. Here's thread on Google Chrome Help Forum: https://productforums.google.com/forum/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=first_post_notification_button#!msg/chrome/tyzywUJfkQI/wQP2dWbcCAAJ

And here's workaround that was posted in there and should work (haven't tested it yet so I can't confirm it is really working):

  1. Enter address chrome://flags/
  2. CTRL-F and type "blink" to find settings
  3. Set this setting DISABLED
