Compatibility with user/pass step login

Open itprotj opened this issue 9 years ago • 5 comments

I've noticed that some sites have been changing the way you can login to them by having a "step" process. This process works by you entering in your username, click next, then enter your password and hit login. IMO I would never create a login form like this but to the actual issue at hand I've found compatibility with chromeipass and these sorts of login forms does not work or I'm missing a way to get it working haha.

Heres an example of the way SoundClouds login form works. 2016-09-12_03-16-12

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I just tested your reported issue. I am using Firefox 48 and Windows 8.1.

For me, the two steps login worked fine on soundcloud.com.

The problem I found, is that soundcloud.com sometimes does not recognize my email, but this is not related to PassiFox.

Hmm okay. Any ideas why mine is having issues? Do I need to have something setup specifically for a step-login site?

Windows 10 64bit Opera ChromeIPass KeePass 2.3.4 KeePassHttp 1.8.4.1

Thanks

Only the password will fill. The page with the username only will not be handled

So far the two steps authentication works fine for me for Firefox with PassiFox and Chrome, with ChromeIPass. I select the credentials for the "username" screen, and the password appears filled on the second screen, without my intervention.

Give a try to Firefox or Chrome, instead Opera.
