Not working means Gnome Shell is crahsing, no button there or something else?

You are right! I will start writing changelogs. The last commit handles only compatibility issues with gnome shell 3.32.
On gnome 3.34 the state should be persistent over gnome restarts, at least on my machine. Could someone confirm this behaviour?
Same happend to me. Could you try executing: `gnome-extensions reset [email protected]`
