limit on how many words spchcat will process?

I've been playing with spchcat on a raspberry pi 3b, so my issue might stem from there. I've noticed that on longer audio files (40 seconds-ish) spchcat just kind of stops at around two lines of words recognized, around the 10 second mark.

I just wanted to check: is that a configuration I can change somewhere? a product of the 3b's limited resources? a limitation on the program?

Happy to share more info but not sure where to begin/what will be helpful.

This is also a problem for me. Using the headset, I am able to get about two lines of words before it locks up.

I also have this problem -- sending a WAV file that's over an hour long and it appears to freeze after the first chunk of words.
