Will not run on my MacBook Pro.
Have a MacBook Pro Intel CoreDuo running OSX 10.6.6. Pop-Up Window says: "You can't open the application iPhoneTracker 2 because it is not supported on this type of Mac." Any fix for this? Thanks!

Is yours a 32-bit mac? The app is currently compiled for 64-bit only. We'll try and get a new binary out sometime today.
Al.
I do have a 64 bit Intel MacBook running OS 10.5.8 and it won't run on mine either.
Can you put up an OS/system compatibility matrix someplace? Thanks.
Won't run on my Core Duo Mac Mini or Core 2 Duo MacBook either. Hoping the 32-bit build will work. Thanks for bringing this to the world's attention.

Right now the binary is 64-bit OSX 10.6 only.
Of course you can just grab the source and compile it yourself...
Al.
@aallan:
- THANK-YOU for investigating the issue and creating the App.
- Perhaps a minimum system requirements notice under the download button on your website (http://petewarden.github.com/iPhoneTracker/) will save others lots of headaches and also minimize the number of false "bugs" being posted here regarding an incompatible OS. Just a suggestion.
Check out my patch and binaries which fix the problem with 10.5 and 32-bit machines:
https://github.com/gwylion/iPhoneTracker
I'm not entirely sure what @gwylion is smoking, but there's a pull req for 10.5/32bit and there's links to binaries in the comments:

@grumpydev As I said in the other thread, I have never used github before today, and thought this would be the easiest and quickest way to contribute a patch and some binaries for people who needed it. I had only good intentions, and I apologise for breaking protocol. I'll read up about pull requests.
Sorry about that! I've now updated the application to work with OS X 10.5.x, PPC and 32 bit machines, it's downloadable from http://static.openheatmap.com.s3.amazonaws.com/iPhoneTracker.app.zip
Let me know if that doesn't help.
cheers, Pete

The app runs, displays a map, and then I get this error: "Couldn't load consolidated.db file from '/Users/
Mac OS 10.6.7 (64bit), iTunes 10.2.1, syncing both an iPhone 4 and an iPad 1.
Sorry about that. There are several possible reasons that file loading might fail:
- Your backups might be encrypted
- There might be no valid backups on that machine
- There may not be enough data collected
- You could have a phone that's still running iOS 3
- You may only have WiFi devices
- It could be a Verizon phone (we have a fix in the works)
Do any of those seem possible?

That was it, thanks!

I cannot run iPhoneTracker. The app launches and displays a map then the following error message appears error: "Couldn't load consolidated.db file from '/Users//Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup'"
I've checked i Phone via ITunes and back up is not encrypted. I'm running iTunes 10 via 10.6.6 on a DUal-core Mac Pro. Iphone is running 4.3.4
Any ideas please.
from this: http://news.cnet.com/8301-30686_3-20057815-266.html I'm guessing this app is no longer possible after iOS updates? I'm on iOS8 and Yosemite getting "Error: Couldn't load consolidated.db file from '~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup'" using unencrypted backup. please advise, this sounds super cool. cheers!
