tmux "Bind Key" commands

Open VinSpee opened this issue 10 years ago • 5 comments

Hello! I'm using tmux in the terminal and it works pretty well for the most part, however, I can not run any commands that use bound keys (^ + a). For example, to detach from a session, I can normally do ^ + a then d. In devtools-terminal, it does not work (nor do any ^ + a commands.

I came here to request the same feature. It would be wonderful to have it, as its a fairly big part of my workflow

Same issue, but this extension is awesome! Vim seems fine, I can even adjust the splits with the mouse! WOOT

Adding that I too ran into this. I would LOVE to run tmux in this way. Hope this gets resolved.

Not perfect… but you can run nearly every tmux command as a command in your terminal prefixed by tmux… I've been attaching and detaching this way without the prefix key until this is figured out.

@evantravers that counts for something! It also kind of kills the convenience of having a terminal in the devtools though. Has anyone considered taking a stab at this or is it actually not possible to capture a bound shortcut?
