Shortcut to Open Terminal
Amazing app! Really helps with my workflow.
I was just curious if there's a shortcut, or a way to create a shortcut to go straight to the terminal? Instead of opening Dev Tools and then clicking to the Terminal tab.
Thanks again for the awesome work.
@nieldlr so you can bind it to some key
or just press F12
Hey @mibamur, thanks for the prompt response. That's awesome.
So unfortunately, that didn't work for me. I'm on OSX.
Here's what I did find though. The Dev Tools have an option to cycle the tabs from 0-9 if you enable it the Dev Tools options. So I removed some tabs and now I can do "Alt+CMD+J" which opens up the console and then "CMD+9" to go the terminal.
Maybe there's another way to do this? Just curious. But I'm happy for now. :)
I tryied, but...
simialr quiestion http://stackoverflow.com/questions/10387712/activate-extension-via-short-cut-key and links http://developer.chrome.com/extensions/commands.html but devtools-terminal is not extension - it`s package app and open chrome package apps on shorcut key is imposibble now
let petethepig say - can he do it or not
I don't see any way we can open Devtools extension via shortcut.
However, Devtools terminal can work as a simple tabbed chrome extension (chrome-extension://leakmhneaibbdapdoienlkifomjceknl/panel/index.html) and I assume we can use this solution from stackoverflow: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/10387712/activate-extension-via-short-cut-key to open the app in a separate tab.
Which is I think would be useful, I'll try to implement this soon.
I dont see this as chrome extension anymore. I am using windows 10
