Linux repositories not updated - leading to usage of 3+ year old release.

I have updated the wiki instructions for the moment, advising the manual installation route.

If these repositories are not going to be updated, perhaps we should remove those instructions and just leave manual instructions in the wiki?

Hello !

I just tried the apt-get installation and I have git flow in version 1.11 ( https://changelogs.ubuntu.com git-flow 1.11.0-1 )

So it seems that the linux repositories are well updated now :)

The repository for Ubuntu 18.04 includes git-flow v1.11.0,1, from October 2017. At 2018, the last version, I think.

  • Previous Ubuntu versions: The repositories for Ubuntu 16.04 (Xenial) included git-flow v1.9.1-1, from December 2015 and Ubuntu 14.04 (Trusty) included git-flow v1.6.1, from October 2013.
