I'm afraid I can't reproduce.  Are there details I might be missing? Does the position of the window matter? Does it matter whether...

Even when I make the window smaller I can't reproduce. I've now also tried it in a up to date but otherwise unchanged virtual machine.

Could you maybe try disabling System Settings > Desktop > Appearance > Window animations? We've had issues before where things animate slower on some systems causing hard to reproduce issues...

Looks like a google related issue? Are you sure you don't have any add blockers / privacy enhancing browser extensions?

Does this happen with specific applications? Is your external monitor HiDPI or LowDPI? What about your integrated monitor?

But. Doesn't this already mostly work this way? I only notice that column view is a bit inconsistent, it doesn't spring-load deeper than one deep?
