[Bug] Windows change their width when display turns on
Karousel version: 0.11 Plasma version: 6.2.5 X11 / Wayland: Wayland
Description: Hi! I found a bug with the window automatically resizing after the display turns on. When the display is turned on, the specified window width is reset to a some default value (display turn off by time-out set in power management). In script settings I set four possible window widths: 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%.
Thank you for the report! I'll take a look at it when I find some time.
I'm not sure if this belongs here or as a new issue. After updating my system today the widths 25% and 75% are no longer specified in the main.js.
Creating the specified widths in one the KDE quick tiling layouts and then adding the values to main.js kinda works but is janky and limited because you can't have a quick tiling layout with all four widths or even 25, 50 and 75.
Operating System: Fedora Linux 41 KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.10.0 Qt Version: 6.8.1 Kernel Version: 6.12.11-200.fc41.x86_64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland
Edit: Updating this comment to report that I can get some semblance of the behaviour I think I had before by using a quick tile layout of something like 25,50,25 and editing main.js to include 25%.
@Ladniy Do you have multiple monitors? When you turn the display off, do the windows move to another display?
